We all are bad in someone’s story

Nobody is perfect. We have all been the "bad guy" in someone’s story at some point in time.

Often, we don’t mean to hurt people; it’s something that just slipped out, a word that we thought wouldn’t sting, a misunderstanding we let slide by, or a promise we didn’t keep.

Other times, it’s done intentionally: anger, frustration, or even self-preservation fuel the action. In either case, we have hurt people.

We sometimes fail and disappoint people, even people that we really care for, but it is just one of the things to being human.

Nobody walks the earth as a saint.

The truth is that anyone can be flawed, imperfect, and at times disappointing. It is humbling that, in some story we knew nothing about, perhaps someone was the bad guy with us.

We weren’t inherently "bad," probably.

But by recognizing the fact, perhaps we all become a little more forgiving, apologize a bit when we are wrong, and allow a bit of giving a little grace when needed.

We are not there in the world trying not to be a spot, fault, or imperfection of every man, yet there is a lesson in understanding in being awake, in learning, and growing knowing well that sometimes, simply put, being human would just do.
